2007 February Sweeps February 28 Listings

(Show titles in the larger size are the shows I recommend; reruns are not listed; all times are in the Mountain Time Zone)

7 PM:

George Lopez (ABC; ends at 7:30 PM)-George seeks help from a popular reality TV game show in order to expose Vic's cheating, gold-digging fiancée (guest starring Stacy Keibler.)

Jericho (CBS; ends at 8 PM)-As winter approaches, Jake and Johnston are joined by Dale and Heather on a trip to a trading post several hours outside of town in search of equipment to fix the local windmill.  Heather knows how to fix the local windmills if she has the necessary equipment and convinces Jake and Johnston to travel with her to "Black Jack," a trading post several hours outside of town.  Against Johnston's wishes, Dale joins them in hopes of trading supplies from the market for something the town can actually use.  Meanwhile, much to the dismay of his family, Hawkins brings Sarah back to their home as they both try to figure out who is watching Hawkins.

Friday Night Lights (NBC; ends at 8 PM)-When Buddy Garrity’s affair is discovered, he finds himself in the doghouse.  He, in turn, imposes on the Taylors and moves in with them.  With her family falling apart, Lyla turns to Jason, the one person she can count on, but, after driving to surprise him at the quad rugby camp, Lyla notices for the first time that Jason’s accident has changed him.  Meanwhile, Smash thinks something is up with Waverly (guest star Aasha Davis) when she uncharacteristically takes him for a midnight swim.  Elsewhere, Coach Taylor takes a meeting with TMU that puts his future with Dillon at risk.

American Idol 6 (FOX; ends at 8:30 PM)-The Top 10 girls perform for America, hoping to win enough votes to stay in the competition.  Who will be back to sing next week?  I'm fairly sure that Lakisha Jones will be back though.

America’s Next Top Model 8 (CW; ends at 9 PM)-Season premiere.  The eighth season begins with 32 competitors taking part in a model boot camp.  Next, they check into a Century City hotel where their number is reduced to 20 and then 13.  The lucky 13 then move into a Hollywood Hills mansion and participate in a controversial photo shoot with Nigel Barker in which they must strike poses for political causes.

7:30 PM:

The Knights of Prosperity (ABC; ends at 8 PM)-With the Mick Jagger caper completed, the gang is faced with the task of finding a new celebrity target.  Once they learn that Kelly Ripa needs a new architect for her home, their problems are solved.  Eugene decides to pose as a famous architect with his "associates" so they can easily case Kelly's place.  However, after getting acquainted with Kelly, Eugene finds himself head-over-heels in love with his target, putting the Knights' surefire plan in jeopardy.  Kelly Ripa, Regis Philbin, Ray Romano, and chef Rocco DiSpirito guest star as themselves.

8 PM:

According to Jim (ABC; ends at 8:30 PM)

Criminal Minds (CBS; ends at 9 PM)-The BAU team travels to New Orleans to track a serial killer who is again killing men throughout the city after a 15 month break.  New Orleans officials believed that the serial killer that haunted the streets of the city was killed in Hurricane Katrina, since the murders ended.  With all of the case files and evidence missing in the hurricane's aftermath, Hotch, Gideon, and the team have only one clue to go on...a single word, "Jones," written on the wall of the lead detective's office just moments before he died in the flood waters.  Meanwhile, Reid struggles with the aftermath of being taken hostage and meets up with an old rival.

Deal or No Deal (NBC; ends at 9 PM)

The Real World: Denver (MTV; ends at 8:30 PM)-Colie spends a weekend with Corey, and Alex has had enough of the whole game.  Meanwhile, Tyrie waits for the fallout from the Alex-Colie-Jenn triangle, and Brooke and Jenn kiss and make up.

8:30 PM:

In Case of Emergency (ABC; ends at 9 PM)-Jason, on the verge of going to jail, can cut a deal if he rats on his Uncle Henry, who happens to be his mother Donna's (guest star Jane Seymour) favorite brother.  Jason begs Harry to help him with his mother because she always favored Harry over him.  Things quickly get hot when Donna's flirting with Harry leads to a deep, passionate kiss, leaving Harry more than a little flustered.  Kelly takes Sherman to a strip club in an attempt to get him over his wife.

Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (FOX; ends at 9 PM)-Special new episode.  More Jeff Foxworthy wackiness and stupid parents.

9 PM:

Lost (ABC; ends at 9 PM)-Hurley's discovery of an old, wrecked car on the island leads him on a mission of hope not only for himself, but for a fellow survivor in need of some faith.  Meanwhile, Kate and Sawyer reunite with their fellow castaways, but Kate is still torn about leaving Jack behind with "The Others."  Cheech Marin guest stars as David Reyes, Hurley's father.

C.S.I.: NY (CBS; ends at 10 PM)-When world-renowned illusionist Luke Blade (guest star Criss Angel) brings his act to the streets of New York and two of his crew members are found dead in ways that mimic his illusions, Mac and the team wonder if his tricks have become reality.

Medium (NBC; ends at 10 PM)-The psychic "S.O.S." serial killer (guest star Eric Stoltz) who Allison helped catch last year, escapes from prison with one thing on his mind...revenge.

11:30 PM:

The Naked Trucker & T-Bones Show (Comedy Central; ends at 12 AM)-T-Bones presents his "T-Bones TV" line of home-entertainment products. Later, the guys pick up their 500th hitchhiker.  Guest stars include Steve Carell, Nancy Walls, and Neil Flynn.
