Kate Winslet won undisclosed libel damages and an apology from British magazine Grazia Friday, after suing the magazine over a story last month claiming the actor was visiting a diet doctor in an effort to lose weight. "I am delighted that this matter has been resolved and the record set straight," Winslet said in a statement. "I am not a hypocrite. I have always been, and shall continue to be, honest when it comes to body/weight issues."

Salma Hayek announced through her rep Friday that she is pregnant and engaged to her businessman boyfriend, François-Henri Pinault. "[They are] happy to announce they are expecting the arrival of their first child," the rep said in a statement. No word on a due or wedding date.

Mark Ruffalo and wife Sunrise Coigney are expecting their third child together; the couple, who tied the knot in 2000, are already parents to five-year-old son Keen and one-year-old daughter Bella.

Twentieth Century Fox has invited 16 towns named Springfield, located in states from Oregon to Massachusetts, to compete for the honor of hosting the big-screen premiere of The Simpsons Movie in July. Each community has been asked to submit short film entries about their town demonstrating why it should be the site for the Simpson family's feature film debut. Though the cartoon series is set in a fictional Springfield, the state has never been mentioned.

Apart from saving the world, one adoption at a time, Angelina Jolie in talks to star in the film The Changeling, about a woman who confronts corruption in the Los Angeles Police Department after her son is kidnapped and recovered, Variety reports. Clint Eastwood is expected to direct.

A spokesperson for Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis reported that the couple's seven-year-old daughter, Lily Rose, is doing "much better," after spending the last nine days in a British hospital. No further details on the child's condition were provided.

Jason Lee is joining the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Alvin and the Chipmunks as Dave Seville, the adopted father to musically gifted rodents, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, per the Hollywood Reporter. The chipmunks themselves will be computer-generated.

Vietnam's top adoption official stated Wednesday that Angelina Jolie's latest adoptee is a boy between three and four years of age who will be moving to the United States in no more than three months. Jolie reportedly chose her new son during a recent visit to the Tam Binh orphanage outside of Ho Chi Minh City. The same official confirmed last week that the actor was making another addition to her family, but declined to provide any details about the child.

Chicago Mayor Richard Daley proclaimed Tuesday to be Jennifer Hudson Day in the Dreamgirls star's hometown, celebrating her many achievements over the past year, including an Oscar, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild award.

The U.S. State Department are criticizing Kazakhstan for shutting down Sacha Baron Cohen's satirical Website, borat.kz, back in 2005, stating the move demonstrated the country's abuse of free speech. In addition to revoking the actor's domain, Kazakh government officials threatened legal action against Cohen for misrepresenting the country as racist and misogynistic. In response to the threat, Cohen-as-Borat said: "I fully support my government's position to sue this Jew."

Officials in Mumbai, India demolished a beachfront platform built for a party celebrating Elizabeth Hurley's marriage to Arun Nayar, claiming it was illegal to build the structure on a public beach. Despite the setback, the party reportedly went on as scheduled Tuesday night.

Kirsten Dunst was named the Female Star of the Year by ShoWest, the largest annual convention for the motion picture industry. The actor is due to receive the award Mar. 15 at a ceremony in Las Vegas.

Obi-Wan Kenobi's brown cloak from the Star Wars films sold for $104,000 to an anonymous telephone bidder Tuesday at an auction of television and movie memorabilia in London.

Spider-Man 3 will make its worldwide debut in Japan on May 1, three days before swinging into domestic theaters, Sony Pictures Entertainment announced. The film's stars and director are expected to attend an April 16 premiere in Tokyo.

Motorcycle comedy Wild Hogs debuted at number one with an estimated $38 million, scoring the largest March opening ever for the Walt Disney Company, as well as the biggest-ever debut for John Travolta. Zodiac opened at number two, with an estimated $13.1 million, while Ghost Rider hung in there at number three with an estimated $11.5 million and Black Snake Moan debuted in eighth place with an estimated $4 million.

A judge again delayed a hearing to determine whether almost $4,500 in sanctions should be assessed against Lindsay Lohan and her attorney for allegedly failing to show up for a civil deposition in a Las Vegas lawsuit against her mother, Dina Lohan. The hearing, already rescheduled once, was moved to March 15.

Daniel Radcliffe has signed on for the last two Harry Potter movies, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Warner Bros. said Monday. No release dates for the films have been announced.

Elizabeth Hurley, who married Arun Nayer Friday at a castle in the British countryside, arrived in Mumbai, India with her new husband Monday for the next leg of their wedding celebration...six days of traditional Indian festivities, culminating with a ceremony at a palace in Jodhpur.
