Burt Bacharach's daughter with Angie Dickinson, 40-year-old Lea Nikki Bacharach, took her own life Thursday, according to a statement released by her parents. "She quietly and peacefully committed suicide to escape the ravages to her brain brought on by Aspberger's, a form of autism," the pair, who divorced in 1980, said. "She was one of the most beautiful creatures created on this earth, and she is now in the white light, at peace.” Services are pending.

Former Creed frontman Scott Stapp welcomed his first child with wife Jaclyn in Miami Thursday, a daughter they've named Milán Hayat Stapp...Milán after her dad's Cherokee heritage and Hayat from her mom's Jordanian background, People reports. Stapp and his missus tied the knot last February.

Celine Dion's Las Vegas show "A New Day" is set to close Dec. 15 after a nearly five-year run. The songstress had originally signed a $100 million three-year deal in March 2003, which was extended through 2007.

Beyoncé, who was one of four writers on "Listen" from the Dreamgirls soundtrack, won't be credited, should the song win an Academy Award because only three writers can be recognized, the Los Angeles Times' The Envelope reports.

Under the terms of the agreement, Federline can see his children from noon to 4 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Spears' home. The agreement also stipulates that Spears may take her sons to Florida for a week this month. Meanwhile, Spears has posted a message on her official Website assuring her fans that she knows her behavior has been "far from perfect" since her panty-free return to the spotlight. "If I were you I'd be unhappy too if I had to read what I've been reading every day. But trust me, I get it," the pop princess wrote.

Dita Von Teese has filed for divorce from Marilyn Manson after one year of marriage.

Snoop Dogg is being sued over a reality show chronicling his involvement in a youth football league after a television company claimed he agreed to the show in violation of a pre-existing deal with 20th Century Fox to development a feature film about the same thing, per the Hollywood Reporter.

Trey Anastasio made a surprise appearance at his arraignment hearing in upstate New York and pled not guilty to misdemeanor charges of drug possession and driving under the influence of drugs. The former Phish frontman was pulled over in Whitehall, New York, last month after he was spotted driving erratically and police discovered prescription painkillers and an anti-anxiety drug that had not been prescribed for him.

A&M Records founders Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss will be honored with the Recording Academy's President's Merit Award for their contributions to popular music at a ceremony following the Grammy Awards on Feb. 11.

George Michael is scheduled to appear in a London courtroom on Jan. 11 to answer to charges of being unfit to drive. The singer was arrested in October after police found him passed out in his car at an intersection in north London.

Britney Spears' manager are denying reports that the pop princess fainted and had to be carried out of a Las Vegas nightclub on New Year's Eve, claiming that Spears simply fell asleep shortly after leading the New Year's countdown and was escorted out by her own security reps.

Kate Moss' rep is denying that she exchanged vows with Pete Doherty in Phuket, Thailand, on New Year's Day, contradicting numerous published reports. "Contrary to various entirely false media reports today, there has not been any kind of marriage ceremony in Thailand," Moss' rep said in a statement. "She is on holiday."

A rep for Ashanti is denying reports that the singer is engaged to longtime boyfriend Nelly.

More than 8,500 James Brown fans packed a stadium in Augusta, Georgia, Saturday to pay their final respects to the late musical legend in a public ceremony that included a tearful eulogy from Michael Jackson, who called Brown his "greatest inspiration." Brown was buried in a private ceremony later in the day.

News" exclusively that a Diaz-Timberlake breakup would be "news to her," and clarified that while she did see Timberlake over the holidays, they were both with their families and spent no time alone. A New Jersey storage company is auctioning off a warehouse of Whitney Houston's stage props from past tours to settle $200,000 she owes in unpaid storage bills. Items on the block include a custom-made, see-through grand piano, the New York Daily News reports.
