2006 November Sweeps November 11 Listings

(Show titles in the larger size are the shows I recommend; reruns are not listed; all times are in the Mountain Time Zone)

6 PM:

College Football: Texas at Kansas State (ABC; ends at 9:30 PM)

7 PM:

Dateline NBC: To Catch a Predator (NBC; ends at 9 PM)-Two-hour episode.

Cops (FOX; ends at 7:30 PM)

Monarch Cove (Lifetime; ends at 8 PM)-Bianca is dealt an emotional blow after Jake tells her his plans to do the right thing and marry his unborn child's mother.  Bianca also encounters a hotel guest who has a connection to Det. Straker.  Elsewhere, Alexander disapproves of Arianna's decision to hire Kathy as her personal assistant; and Kathy plots to find out the truth about Elizabeth's pregnancy by staging a car accident.

I Trust You to Kill Me (VH1; ends at 8:30 PM)-World premiere.  A documentary following a European tour by Rocco DeLuca and the Burden and their underqualified road manager, Kiefer Sutherland, who is an owner of the band's indie label.  Directed by Manu Boyer.  The highlight of it will be, of course, a drunken Sutherland attacking a Christmas tree.  Presented commercial-free.

8 PM:

America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back (FOX; ends at 9 PM)

Monarch Cove (Lifetime; ends at 9 PM)-Second new episode.  Jake admits his feelings for Bianca on the night before his wedding; the affair between Arianna and Steve continues, while Alexander attempts to woo a lover of his own; Ben is caught robbing the Preston home; and a good-looking stranger comes to town.

9 PM:

48 Hours Mystery (CBS; ends at 10 PM)

10:30 PM:

MADtv (FOX; ends at 11:30 PM)-Guest star Seth MacFarlane, the sick and twisted mind behind FOX hits "Family Guy" and "American Dad," brings with him a never-before-seen clip of "Family Guy" as a live-action comedy featuring “Stewie” (Bobby Lee), “Chris” (Frank Caeti), “Lois” (Arden Myrin), “Meg” (Crista Flanagan), and “Peter” (guest star MacFarlane.)  Also tonight, Los Lonely Boys are the musical guests.

10:35 PM:

Saturday Night Live (NBC; ends at 12:05 AM)-Alec Baldwin hosts; Christina Aguilera performs.  This is Alec Baldwin's 13th time hosting "SNL," moving him ahead of John Goodman into sole possession of second place on the all-time list (with Steve Martin being in first place with 14 times hosting.)

11:30 PM:

Talkshow with Spike Feresten (FOX; ends at 12 AM)-Instigator and “Cheaters” host Joey Greco takes a break from comforting cheating lovers to spend a night filled with lighthearted laughs alongside Emmy-nominated writer Spike Feresten (“Seinfeld,” “The Late Show with David Letterman.”)

Watching/Recording Suggestions:

At 7 PM, watch I Trust You to Kill Me; record “Monarch Cove” on TiVo.  At 8 PM, watch the rest of I Trust You to Kill Me; record the second “Monarch Cove” on TiVo.  At 10:30 PM, record “MADtv” on TiVo.  At 10:35 PM, watch “Saturday Night Live.”  At 11:30 PM, record “Talkshow with Spike Feresten” on TiVo.
