6 PM:

America’s Funniest Home Videos (ABC; ends at 7 PM)

60 Minutes (CBS; ends at 7 PM)

Football Night in America (NBC; ends at 6:30 PM)

Reba (CW; ends at 6:30 PM)-Season premiere.  Barbra Jean shows off her new sleek figure, but Brock fears her interest in exercising is really about spending time with a sexy male trainer, so he persuades Reba to spy on her.

6:30 PM:

NFL Football (NBC; ends at 9:15 PM)- San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos.

Reba (CW; ends at 7 PM)-Second new episode.  When Houston's premier real estate agent, Steve Norris (guest star Tim Meadows), contacts Reba and Van for a meeting, Reba is thrilled at the opportunity, but Van is concerned that he will once again be relegated to acting as Reba's assistant at the new company.  Van is stunned when Norris offers him the job...without Reba.  Meanwhile, with Barbra Jean looking better than ever, Brock decides to try a different fashion style to keep up with his wife.

7 PM:

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (ABC; ends at 8 PM)

The Amazing Race 10 (CBS; ends at 8 PM)-Will one long-standing alliance continue to stay strong or will Teams finally break out on their own to improve their standing?  Teams are feeling the pressure to perform their best as there is little room for error at this stage of the Race.  At the Virtual Pitstop, all Teams must repel face-first down a 236 foot high tower.  One Team is put to the ultimate test as they face their extreme fear of heights in order to complete the challenge and continue Racing.  Two teams race head-to-head the entire leg of the Race and form an uneasy partnership.  Frustration continues to mount as one Team's bad luck with automobiles continues.

The Simpsons (FOX; ends at 7:30 PM)-When Homer forgets Moe’s birthday, Moe’s anger inspires Lisa to write about him for her school report. She finds a poetic side to Moe and helps him get published in “American Poetry Perspectives.”  However, when Moe is featured at a literary conference, where he encounters Gore Vidal, Michael Chabon, Tom Wolfe, and Jonathan Franzen, he takes all the credit despite Lisa’s feelings.

7th Heaven (CW; ends at 8 PM)-After learning of her father's health prognosis, Ruthie reluctantly agrees to leave Scotland behind and return home to Glenoak with her parents, Eric and Annie. Sandy decides to call off plans to marry Martin after his best friend, Mac, questions why they are in such a rush.  Meanwhile, Lucy advises T-Bone (guest star Colton James) to look into declaring emancipation from his mother if she is unfit to care for him.

Hogan Knows Best (VH1; ends at 7:30 PM)-Nick, Linda, and Hulk find out who knows Brooke best when each invites a potential suitor to the house.

7:30 PM:

American Dad (FOX; ends at 8 PM)-When Steve’s new relationship with his girlfriend gives Francine empty nest syndrome, she tries to convince Stan to have another baby.  Meanwhile, Roger tries to enroll in college with Haley in order to experience college life, but while Roger ends up teaching the class, Haley finds a new crush in her classmate Ethan (guest voice Elijah Wood), who turns out to be far from normal.

Breaking Bonaduce (VH1; ends at 8 PM)-Gretchen allows Danny back in the house on a probationary basis, but he has to stay in the guest room.  Meanwhile, Isabella accuses him of being soft, so Danny gets in the boxing ring with a heavyweight contender to prove her wrong.

8 PM:

Desperate Housewives (ABC; ends at 9 PM)-Lynette is concerned about her mysterious new neighbor (guest star Matt Roth); Susan and Ian take their relationship up a notch; and Gaby trains pageant hopefuls.

Cold Case (CBS; ends at 9 PM)-Lilly and the team delve into the world of a modern day lonely hearts club when a handsome man commits suicide while watching a tape of an unattractive woman whose murder went cold in 1989.  The connection between the victim, Ramon Delgado (guest star Bruno Campos), and the deceased, Martha Puck (guest star Emily Nelson), was a video dating service, the hunting grounds for a "Don Juan" who preyed on women unlucky in love.  Lilly discovers that, once united, this unlikely couple left a trail of bodies behind them and that the woman, whose romance novel notions of love blinded her to her paramour's evil ways, may not have been as innocent as she seemed.

The Girls Next Door (E!; ends at 8:30 PM)-Season finale.  A grand opening party turns into a family affair.

Family Guy (FOX; ends at 8:30 PM)-Season premiere.  When Lois discovers that Chris has some bad information about sex, she volunteers to teach a sex-ed class at the high school.  After Lois upsets the other parents with her honest approach, Principal Shepherd (guest voice Gary Cole) is forced to replace her with Reverend Jerry Kirkwood (guest voice David Cross.)  Meanwhile, Meg and her new guy take an abstinence pledge, but still manage to find a loophole.  A terrified Stewie sets a series of traps for the Tooth Fairy, hell-bent on destroying him.

Celebrity Paranormal Project (VH1; ends at 9 PM)-An abandoned industrial mill is investigated by Coolio, David Carradine, boxer Mia St. John, Bridget Marquardt ("The Girls Next Door"), and Andrew Firestone ("The Bachelor.")

8:30 PM:

The War at Home (FOX; ends at 7:30 PM)

9 PM:

Brothers & Sisters (ABC; ends at 10 PM)-Part 2 of 2.  A road trip for Sarah, Thomas, and Kevin reveals more startling news about their father's secret life; Kitty interviews Sen. Robert McCallister (guest star Rob Lowe); and Justin comes clean about his reasons for joining the service after returning from a hospital stay.

Without a Trace (CBS; ends at 10 PM)-A social worker disappears after taking a child from her home, and the team suspect the abusive father may have been seeking revenge.  Then they learn that the social worker had almost 20 similar cases in the past few years and had received death threats.

11:30 PM:

Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Adult Swim; ends at 11:45 PM)-An unusually persuasive gutter salesman interrupts an otherwise charming discourse on good times and good friends.  Porn star Tera Patrick guest stars.

12:30 AM:

Robot Chicken (Adult Swim; ends at 12:45 AM)-Vince Vaughn presents his new hit show, "Vince Vaughn Bangs Your Mom."  Meet Casper's brother, "Jasper, the D***** bag Ghost."  Ninjas compete in a game show.  A nerd gives us a much-needed lesson on GoBots.  The cast of "Sesame Street" deals with a viral outbreak.  A robot learns what it means to be alive.  "Robot Chicken" holds a telethon that goes horribly awry.

12:45 AM:

Metalocalypse (Adult Swim; ends at 1 AM)-Toki tries to compensate for his adorable charm by over-brutalizing his intentions and actions.

1 AM:

Squidbillies (Adult Swim; ends at 1:15 AM)-Violence leads to marriage.

1:15 AM:

Moral Orel (Adult Swim; ends at 1:30 AM)-This episode deals with love...and I bet Moral will find some way to pervert it.

1:30 AM:

Frisky Dingo (Adult Swim; ends at 1:45 AM)-Following an accident, everyone ends up in the hospital.
