2006 November Sweeps November 22 Listings

(Show titles in the larger size are the shows I recommend; reruns are not listed; all times are in the Mountain Time Zone)

6 PM:

The Real World: Denver (MTV; ends at 7 PM)-One-hour season premiere.  Season 18 opens as the seven strangers move into their Denver digs.  First up: Alex hooks up with Colie; and Jenn and Stephen have a problem with Davis's sexual orientation.  It will be interesting to see a "Real World" cast cavorting about in my town.  Personally, I like that they came here, even though my fellow locals have a problem with them.

7 PM:

Show Me the Money (ABC; ends at 8 PM)-Paulara Hawkins, a celebrity personal assistant from Dallas, Texas and Bill Kapitan, an office furniture installer from Wills Point, Texas attempt to win...and keep from losing...a million plus dollars.

Jericho (CBS; ends at 8 PM)-Russian jets cruise over Jericho, dropping containers of food from China.  This sparks a debate over whether it is poisoned or not, which the townsfolk prove impatient to find out.  Elsewhere, trouble breaks out involving Jonah (guest star James Remar.)

Madonna: The Confessions Tour, Live From London (NBC; ends at 8 PM)-Special.  A two-hour concert special marks the first-ever broadcast network performance by the international pop superstar.  The special was taped this past summer at Wembley Stadium in London, UK during Madonna's worldwide sold-out 25-city "Confessions Tour."  The concert special will feature songs from the artist's recent multi-platinum Warner Bros. Records release Confessions On A Dance Floor, which debuted at No. 1 in 29 countries and has sold over eight million copies around the globe.  The broadcast will also include some of Madonna's greatest hits from her legendary career.

Cheaper by the Dozen (FOX; ends at 9 PM)-2003 family comedy starring Steve Martin.

America’s Next Top Model 7 (CW; ends at 8 PM)-The models hit the foreign streets with their portfolios to meet local designers.  One model has a breakdown when she gets lost in the city.  At the photo shoot with Nigel Barker, the girls face off against an angry bull while striking dramatic poses.  One model makes a comment to Nigel that she later regrets.  Pancho Saula, Director of Elite International, serves as guest judge.

8 PM:

Day Break (ABC; ends at 9 PM)-Hopper discovers that somebody close to him may have had a role in framing him for Garza's murder.  Meanwhile, some critical clues come to light that may aid Hopper in making his hellacious day come to an end.

Criminal Minds (CBS; ends at 9 PM)-Gideon interrogates a detained terror suspect at Gitmo after a raid on a suspicious home uncovers a device designed to disperse chemical weapons and clues that indicate an attack is imminent and that lead to the detainee.  Also, new agent Emily Prentiss (new cast member Paget Brewster), who's fluent in Arabic, joins Reid in studying the terrorist while Gideon talks to him.

One Tree Hill (CW; ends at 8 PM)-Derek (recurring guest star Ernest Waddell, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit") convinces Peyton to take a chance with Lucas at the same time that Brooke approaches him about getting back together.  Daunte's (recurring guest star Rick Fox, "Oz") latest demand leads Nathan to seek help from an unlikely source...Dan. When Rachel learns of a failing grade, she turns to Haley for tutoring.  Nathan is named MVP of the Ravens at the annual sports banquet.

Top Chef (Bravo; ends at 9 PM)-The contestants cook up Thanksgiving dinner and are challenged to prepare cuisine using only canned goods.  Anthony Bourdain serves as guest judge.

9 PM:

The Nine (ABC; ends at 10 PM)-Jeremy and Lizzie confront their secret from inside the bank; Franny finds something mysterious that Eva left behind; and Nick's ex-wife (guest star Sasha Alexander) appears and brings trouble with her.

C.S.I.: NY (CBS; ends at 10 PM)-A wealthy Throggs Neck father is murdered in a new, expensive car he was about to give his daughter for a 16th birthday present.  While searching the car, Lindsay is bitten by a cobra hidden inside.  In Tribeca, a man who raised racing pigeons is murdered.  His body is discovered after a parachutist, who was advertising an upcoming sporting event, dies because his open parachute is pummeled by dozens of dead, blood-covered pigeons that mysteriously fall from the sky.

Medium (NBC; ends at 10 PM)-When Allison relives the same horrific day over and over again in her dreams, she discovers that with each "day" she relives, important clues are being revealed to her regarding a potential hostage situation.  Meanwhile, Joe struggles for affection from Allison, and Ariel is being threatened by a bully at school.
