2006 November Sweeps November 29 Listings

(Show titles in the larger size are the shows I recommend; reruns are not listed; all times are in the Mountain Time Zone)

7 PM:

Show Me the Money (ABC; ends at 8 PM)-Contestants Bill Kapitan, an office furniture installer from Wills Point, Texas returns to compete with Adrienne De'Anna, an administrative assistant from Los Angeles, California for a million plus dollars.

Jericho (CBS; ends at 8 PM)-Fall season finale.  As the mayoral election nears, Gray seizes the opportunity to show his strength as a leader when one of Jericho's citizens turns up dead.  Gray is convinced he knows who committed the crime and launches a manhunt to capture Jonah and restore peace to Jericho.  Meanwhile, as playful reminiscing continues to heat up between Jake and Emily, both are hit with a curve ball when an unlikely face returns to Jericho.

Christmas in Rockefeller Center (NBC; ends at 8 PM)-Special.

Bones (FOX; ends at 8 PM)-When the headless body of a young man, along with a video camera full of documentary footage, is discovered in the DC-area woods, Brennan and Booth are called in to identify the year-old remains and determine if a murder was committed.  The body is proven to be that of University of Virginia film student Graham Hastings (guest star Michael Trevino), who had disappeared a year before while making a documentary about the local legend of a woman thought to be a witch who beheaded anyone who dared to look for her.  In a mysteriously parallel set of circumstances, Brennan and the team find that Graham was beheaded by an axe.  After examining the dark, chaotic and choppy footage from Graham’s camera, Brennan and Booth learn that two other people...Graham’s girlfriend Lori Mueller (guest star Amanda Fuller) and fellow classmate Brian Andrews (guest star Jake Richardson)...were in the woods with Graham on the night of his disappearance.  DNA on the axe used to murder Graham leads a shocking revelation of the killer’s identity.  Meanwhile, Brennan befriends Graham’s brother, Will (guest star Kristoffer Polaha), when she finds out that he, too, was an orphan, but the friendship quickly dissolves when the truth behind his brother’s murder is uncovered.

America’s Next Top Model 7 (CW; ends at 8 PM)-In Barcelona, the models’ nerves are wearing thin.  After a Flamenco photo shoot challenge, one girl breaks down in tears when her dancing is criticized.  In unlikely pairs, the models float in a pool of icy water as Tyra directs their photo shoot.  One girl must bow out of the shoot early as hypothermia begins to set in.  Special guests include photographer and guest judge David Ruiz.

8 PM:

Day Break (ABC; ends at 9 PM)-Hopper gets an unexpected phone call that could lead to some answers as he comes between Andrea and Eddie (Nestor Carbonell), the fired cop who plunged off her deck into a ravine.  Hopper also confronts Ava the swimmer about the package containing the hourglass that Garza had her send him, and he learns that Ava sent a package to his sister, Jennifer, as well.

Criminal Minds (CBS; ends at 9 PM)-A troubled young man who fears that he may be a serial killer in the making describes his fantasies about killing prostitutes to Reid.  When several hookers turn up dead in the Washington D.C. area, the young man becomes the prime suspect in their murders.  Mel Harris ("thirtysomething") guest-stars as Congresswoman Steyer, a political heavyweight in Washington, D.C. who asks Agent Hotchner to keep the case quiet for her own political gain.  Jessica Tuck ("Judging Amy") guest-stars as the young man's mother.

The Biggest Loser 3 (NBC; ends at 9 PM)-Kim teaches the contestants how to cook Thanksgiving dinner "Biggest Loser" style without sacrificing flavor.  At the challenge, the players run around the Santa Anita Park race track while wearing their original weight when they arrived at the ranch.  The player who crosses the finish line first wins a visit with a family member.

One Tree Hill (CW; ends at 8 PM)-As Whitey's last game approaches, the residents of Tree Hill feel the pressure of a looming State Championship.  Peyton reveals to Lucas that she has feelings for him.  Haley learns the sex of her baby.  Nathan and Lucas clash over personal and team goals.  Karen shows Deb tough love, while Dan tries to strike a bargain with Daunte (recurring guest star Rick Fox, "Oz.")

The Real World: Denver (MTV; ends at 8:30 PM)-Colie brings home a local guy to get a rise out of Alex, who later tells her that he wants to take her out on a date.

20/20 (ABC; ends at 10 PM)-Special Wednesday episode.

C.S.I.: NY (CBS; ends at 10 PM)-The C.S.I.'s are floored when Sheldon Hawkes is apprehended during an early morning run as the primary suspect in a bartender's murder.  While he maintains his innocence, Mac and the team grow increasingly frustrated when they are removed from the investigation for fear they'll contaminate the evidence.  With a mountain of evidence stacked against him, the team works tirelessly on their own to piece together the clues that will hopefully prove Hawkes' innocence.  Meanwhile, Danny and Stella investigate what seems to be an overdose, but they realize their routine case may be connected to escaped serial killer Shane Casey.  Edward Furlong (Terminator 2: Judgment Day) guest stars as Shane Casey, a serial killer who escaped justice after being captured by Mac and the team.  Claire Forlani (Meet Joe Black) guest stars in a recurring role as a new medical examiner and Mac Taylor's girlfriend, Dr. Peyton Driscoll.  John Kapelos (The Breakfast Club) guest stars as union attorney Bobby Rossmore, assigned to defend Dr. Hawkes.  Emmanuelle Vaugier ("Two and a Half Men") guest stars in a recurring role as C.S.I. detective Jennifer Angell.

Medium (NBC; ends at 10 PM)-When nemesis Dr. Charles Walker (guest star Mark Sheppard), begins to reappear in Allison's dreams, she fears his spirit may be returning to continue his evildoing by inhabiting the living.  Her fears escalate when she meets a young man who has an uncanny resemblance to the serial killer from the late 1800's.
