In reality TV news: Rebecca Corry and Kristin Key were send home at the end of the three-way head-to-head competition Tuesday that followed the elimination of Gabriel Iglesias, who was disqualified for violating the show's rules, on NBC's "Last Comic Standing 4." On Wednesday, Chris Pierson, a 25-year-old from Atlanta, GA, was eliminated on CBS's "Rock Star: Supernova" after being in the bottom three two weeks in a row. Also on Wednesday, Stacey Estrella, a 40-year-old Harvard MBA from San Francisco, CA, was eliminated in the season premiere of Bravo's "Project Runway 3." On Thursday, Alison Irwin, a 25-year-old medical sales rep from Meadville, PA, who originally took second place in "Big Brother 4," became the first houseguest to be evicted from CBS's "Big Brother 7: All-Stars" house by a vote of 8-2.

Comedy Central have set a July 19 air date for "Trapped in the Closet," the Emmy-nominated "South Park" episode poking fun at Tom Cruise and Scientology. The network had reportedly shelved the episode because Cruise was displeased.

A Southern California rock band called Supernova is suing Mark Burnett over his CBS reality show "Rock Star: Supernova," claiming it had the name first. An attorney for Mark Burnett Productions has stated that the company has the legal right to the name and the lawsuit is without merit.

After James Gandolfini was forced to undergo "unexpected knee surgery" recently, HBO pushed back the start date of the new "Sopranos" episodes from January to March.

Network television reported the lowest ratings in recorded history, with ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX averaged 20.8 million viewers during the average prime-time minute last week, per Nielsen Media Research.

Another one of Naomi Campbell's former employees is suing the supermodel for abuse. Florida native Amanda Brack alleged Campbell verbally and physically abused her on three different continents beginning in March 2005, according to court documents filed Thursday.

The third season of "Project Runway" debuted to 2.4 million viewers, making it the highest-rated season premiere in network history.

Mr. T revealed that he shed his signature gold chains after seeing the destruction of Hurricane Katrina. "As a spiritual man, I felt it would be a sin against my God for me to wear all that gold again because I spent a lot of time with the less fortunate," the actor said Thursday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour.

E! Entertainment Television is forcing sworn enemies Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie to work together under their written contract to do a fifth season of "The Simple Life."

Sally Field is joining the cast of ABC's new drama, "Brothers and Sisters."

Dan Rather has signed on to make the weekly news show "Dan Rather Reports" for HDNet Network, a small network available through some cable and satellite providers that offer high definition.

Auditions for the sixth season of "American Idol" will begin in Los Angeles next month and will travel to San Antonio, East Rutherford, New Jersey, Birmingham, Memphis, Minneapolis, and Seattle.

Punk band Supernova has filed a complaint against Mark Burnett Productions for trademark infringement, saying CBS's "Rock Star: Supernova" is unfairly using its name.

Paula Ann Meronek, a cast member of MTV's "Real World: Key West," was arraigned on misdemeanor assault charge after allegedly biting her boyfriend during a domestic dispute.

"Survivor: Palau" and "Guatemala" castaway Stephenie LaGrossa married her longtime boyfriend Michael Ward Friday in New Jersey.

Brigitte Nielsen wed her fifth husband, former model Mattia Dessi, in Italy on Saturday, People reports. The two had tied the knot previously in February 2005, but the nuptials were deemed illegal because Nielsen was still married to her fourth husband, former race-car driver Raoul Meyer.

Jack Smith, a recording artist and songwriter who hosted the television show "You Asked for It," died July 3 of leukemia, according to a friend. He was 92.
