In reality TV news: 30-year-old Raro tribe member and pro volleyball player John "J.P." Calderon from Marina Del Rey, CA, was voted off CBS's "Survivor: Cook Islands" Thursday, thanks in part to his alpha male attitude.

Tori Spelling's mom Candy told People she is "thrilled and ecstatic" that her little girl is pregnant. "And if Aaron were here, I know how thrilled he would also be to share in such a happy occasion."

"Charlie's Angels" icon Farrah Fawcett has confirmed that she is battling intestinal cancer and is "determined to bite the bullet and fight the fight while going through the next six weeks of cutting edge, state of the art treatment." The actress recently had surgery to remove a tumor and has been spotted working out in Los Angeles.

Paris Hilton has topped a poll of the most overexposed celebrities as compiled by Forbes.com. Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, and Britney Spears also made strong showings.

Legendary French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent collapsed on a Paris street Friday, just a day after showing his collection in the city's Fashion Week. The 70-year-old is currently resting at home with reps denying to Reuters that the designer was admitted to a hospital, claiming he simply lost his footing.

NBC is moving "Kidnapped" from Wednesday at 10 p.m. to Saturday at 9 p.m. ET for the rest of its remaining 13 episodes. Meanwhile, CBS has indefinitely shelved "Smith."

In reality TV news: Vivica A. Fox was booted off ABC's "Dancing With the Stars 3" Wednesday night, offering as her parting words: "Drop it like it's hot." Also on Wednesday, Monique Babblesworth, a 19-year-old marketing representative from Chicago, IL, was eliminated on the CW's "America's Next Top Model 7." Finally on Wednesday, Nelson Potter, a 35-year-old cop from Lawrence, MA, was eliminated on NBC's "The Biggest Loser 3." He has lost 52 pounds since he arrived at the ranch.

"E! News" has confirmed that Marcia Cross and her husband Tom Mahoney are expecting twins. The babies are due in April, right in time for May sweeps just in case Marc Cherry gets behind a Bree Van De Kamp pregnancy after all.

NBC has ordered a full season of freshman drama Heroes for 2006-07.

Eva Longoria injured herself on the set of "Desperate Housewives" Wednesday, slipping on some stairs while coming out of her trailer. Her rep said the actress will return to work as scheduled.

NBC's critically acclaimed "Friday Night Lights" got demolished in the ratings Tuesday night, drawing in just 7.2 million viewers against ratings juggernaut "Dancing with the Stars 3."

The CW is teaming with daytime power couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos for a comedy loosely based on the duo's experience meeting and working in soaps, per the Hollywood Reporter.

Paris Hilton and "Dancing with the Stars" also-ran Shanna Moakler filed dueling police reports early Wednesday morning, LAPD confirms. Hilton claims Moakler approached her at Hyde nightclub and punched her in the jaw, while Moakler says the heiress' ex, Stavros Niarchos, threw a drink at her and pushed her down stairs. Hilton has recently been spotted canoodling with Moakler's estranged hubby, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.

A Los Angeles judge has postponed a hearing in which Larry Birkhead was expected to request a court order to bring Anna Nicole Smith and her baby back to California in order to undergo drug and paternity testing. In lieu of the hearing, moved to Oct. 26, one of Birkhead's lawyers made a public plea for Smith to return from the Bahamas. Both Birkhead and Howard K. Stern have claimed they are the father of the month-old girl.

The clock is ticking on the new season of "24." FOX has announced that the sixth season of the Kiefer Sutherland drama kicks off with a two-night premiere Jan. 14 and 15.

CBS has announced plans to swap the time slots of two of its Monday night comedies beginning Oct. 9, moving "How I Met Your Mother" into the 8:00 p.m. ET slot and "The Class" back to 8:30 ET. CBS also picked up Julia Louis-Dreyfus' sitcom, "The New Adventures of Old Christine," for a full second season, boosting the original 13-episode renewal to a full 22. The show has been averaging 13.6 million viewers and earned Dreyfus a surprise Emmy.

The company that makes In-Sink-Erator garbage disposals has filed suit against NBC, claiming the "Heroes" pilot, which features a girl placing her hand down the sink, flipping on the product and removing her mangled digits--only to have them quickly return to normal--"irreparably tarnished" their product by implying it could cause significant injury and also violated their trademark.

Tori Spelling is expecting her first child with her husband Dean McDermott, sources confirmed to "E! News."

Neck-tattoo-sporting "Project Runway" finalist Jeffrey Sebelia has spoken out on allegations that he cheated in the show's finale by enlisting outside help to sew up his runway collection garments, calling them "unfounded" on a posting to his MySpace page. Sebelia also warned fans to "be careful what you read and also of what is presented in the press."

Christie's will hold the first ever auction of official "Star Trek" paraphernalia as featured in the television and film franchise. "40 Years of Star Trek: The Collection" runs Oct. 5-7 and will simultaneously be webcast on The History Channel's History.com.

The Sundance Channel and the Sci-Fi Channel are teaming up to launch Exposure, an eight-week online short film competition at scifi.com. Aspiring filmmakers should submit a two to eight minute sci-fi, horror, or fantasy flick.

FOX's "'Til Death" is extending its production hiatus by another week after star Brad Garrett took issue with the latest script, thereby making it a top contender for first cancellation of the fall season.

Jerry Seinfeld has been tapped to perform a new piece of stand-up and have a sit-down on FOX's fledgling "Talkshow with Spike Feresten" Oct. 21. Feresten, a former "Seinfeld" writer, penned the infamous "Soup Nazi" episode.
